Scrappin' Saturday: Circle Mini Album Tin!

I LOVE mini albums...I can't get enough of them.  And when thinking about this week's theme, I remembered a project I made a while back incorporating both the "circle" challenge theme, and a mini album...

It's a circle mini-album in a tin!  I bought the tin at Michael's in the gift wrap/box section and I think it was only $1.

I used my Cricut (George & Basic Shapes cartridge) to cut 2" circles out of plain white cardstock for the pages.  I laid a long strip of ribbon on my work table, adhered the circles onto the ribbon side-by-side, and then flipped the ribbon over and adhered circles on the backside of each circle as well, so that there is no "front" or "back" to the album...there are photos on both sides of each page.  The ribbon is pretty much hidden, and the pages fold accordion-style into the tin.

I punched a small hole into a 1 3/4" circle and threaded the end of my ribbon through it, attaching it to the bottom of the tin with adhesive, and then adhering down the circle on top of it. 

Then I cut 1 3/4" patterned paper circles (also with George), added some mini photos and embellished with my Cricut:  scallop frames are from Accent Essentials, paper flowers are from George.  I also used a border punch, some silk flowers, CTMH stamps and pearls.  I covered the outside with patterned papers, silk flowers and tag (TBBM) stamped wtih "family".  Here is the finished tin:
