Fantabulous Friday

Hi everyone! It's Friday again :) Our theme this week is It's A Pirates Life. There is still plenty of time to play along so be sure to enter.

But I thought I would show you the Art Philosophy cartridge from Close to My Heart. This cartridge has so much on it, not to mention the stamps that go with it! If I could only have one cartidge, I think this would be it, that's how versatile it is :)

The creative features on this cartridge are Layer, Decorative layer, Tag, Card, Font and Font Layer. But there are so many possible cuts on here! There are boxes, 3d items, borders, and flowers too.

I love the card feature on here! Here's a card I made with the postage stamp looking card and the dragonfly is on the same page as it. You can see all the details on the cuts HERE.

This is one of the box cuts--the door hanger. I just love how quick and easy this is! You can make it for just about anything, but you need to have some strong paper to make sure it won't fall off the handle :) The tag came from this cartridge too!

This card is using the card feature and stamps that come with the set. You can see all the details on it HERE.

And here's my first flower cut. These are so cute! I used some double sided paper paper since you can see both sides. I cut this at 5 inches and could probably do a better job of rolling it, but I wasn't sure what I was doing. I can't wait to make some more though!

This is such a fun cartidge! I hope you find some time to play along with the challenge this week--you have until Sunday night!

Have a great weekend!

  2. I don't think you can do a better job on that flower...it is already perfect! I have a friend who used the door hanger as a water bottle accessory for a snack. She just put an extra score in it at the top. It was so cute! Thanks for sharing your projects with this cartridge.

  4. Thanks for a look at the CTMH cartride. Would love to win one. Is anyone giving one away? Budget being what it is right now, it's not looking good that I'll get one for a while. But I love to dream.
