Thursday's Tutorial -Craft Foam, Fun Foam with your Cricut

Hello Fantabulous followers,
I'm so excited to share with you a video that I found on You Tube, and I can't even remember what I was looking for when I came upon it. This is really typical of me though because I get side tracked so easily when I'm on the computer... don't you? I start searching for a specific project and then 30 minutes later my search is completely different then when I started. Is any one like this or I'm I the only one who can get so sidetracked with the computer?

OK, on to my great find ... Cathie Rigby made this wonderful video using craft foam (fun foam) and I thought it was awesome! So I hope you enjoy it and will give it a try.

I've personally tried using the adhesive backed craft foam and have not had success yet... so I'll probably purchase the non adhesive backed craft foam, but I'm going to keep trying because this is such an awesome idea!

Please leave comments on your success (or experience) using craft foam, and if you've cut craft foam successfully using your Cricut and have a post on your blog please link it in the comment section so we can all be inspired by your creation.

  1. Thanks for linking the video. I've always wondered if this can be done or if it would require the deep cut blade. Looks pretty easy though.

  4. Wowsers! You are so inventive. I'm going to give it a try right now as I'm doing a winter card and would like some blue and white twine as an accent.
Thanks for the very detailed tutorial!
