Quick Tip Tuesday: The Many Uses of Baby Wipes

Happy Tuesday everyone and thank you for stopping by for another Quick Tip Tuesday!

The other day, someone asked me what was the one thing I couldn't do without in my craft room. That was a very hard question to answer. I love my Cricut and Cuttlebug and of course paper. But the one item that would be hard to do without for me is baby wipes. I use them for so many things.

Some of the ways I use baby wipes:

• Wipe ink off my stamps after I use them.
• I use them to refresh my Cricut mat when the tackiness starts to wear off. Just scrub the wipe across the mat to remove the paper residue.
• I use them to gently wipe the rollers and bottom floor of my Cricut. I like to use paper with glitter and it tends to get everywhere. The wipes remove it and other lint and paper scraps.
• I carefully use it to clean the Cricut blade when paper gets caught up in there.
• I used them to clean my hands when I get ink or marker on them.

I buy the Wal-Mart brand and they are inexpensive and come in a plastic tub that is perfect for storage once the wipes are gone. You could even have fun decorating the tub but I haven't gotten around to that project yet!

I had to try this technique and I love it! I cut a bookmark from George and Basic Shapes in glossy cardstock, and then used the baby wipe with inks to create the background. A Tim Holtz tree stamp and K Andrew Designs Thankful stamp and I have a quick and easy bookmark
