Spotlight Sunday

Welcome back to the Sunday Spotlight! Great to see you here with us. You know we <3 ya!

This week let's continue meeting the talented new editions to the Design Team.

Here is Judy of Crafty Jar ...

Aside from Judy's craft talent, she's a sweet girl...

When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?

I received a scrapbook kit at my baby shower for my daughter in 2005. I luckily I met someone who had done some scrapbooking before, and she got me started. In 2008 I started making cards and now I will dabble with other altered items.

What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
With our family's recent move across country, My kids school schedule have drastically changed and I get just about 2 1/2 hrs free, 4 days a week. My son, especially, keeps me busy since he was diagnosed with mild Autism two years ago. Our whole family have also been hooked on hiking and we try to get one hike in every weekend. I also try to hike with a couple of girlfriends twice a week for exercise, over the past 8 months I lost 48 lbs and I really want to keep it going. I was recently employed as a scrapbook teacher at Michael's Arts and Craft and I have occasional classes at another local scrapbook store. I am really loving this next phase of my crafting. So I hardly have any spare time, but somehow I manage to still get stuff done!

Cindy's cuteness doesn't stop with her creations either...
When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?
I have always been into drawing and painting but about 6 years ago I started taking alot of pictures and using scrapbooking to turn them into great memories. Then about a year ago I created my own blog to share some of my projects.
What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
I am lucky enough to be a stay home mom,I have two great kids.So when I am not crafting we all try to do activities together,we also just bought a travel trailer and we are all looking forward to camping this summer.
Here is Amy L of Redheaded Crafter ...

And, of course, Amy is a real sweetie pie...
When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?
I started paper crafting at a very early age because my mom is very "crafty". She would have my sister and I do a lot of creative activities instead of watching TV.... Thanks mom! :) I also have become addicted to crafting since I bought my Cricut Expression!!!! Love it!

What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?

I really enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I live in a small town, so most of the time we go to the movies, but we also have a bowling alley in town which is fun too! I'm also a first grade teacher, so that takes up a lot of my time! :)

Here is Tanya of Nonna's Craft Corner ...

Tanya is a returning creative sweetheart....

When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?

I have been a "crafter" for as long as I can remember, starting with scraps of fabric left over from my Mama's projects. Over the years I've tried sewing, embroidery, cross-stitch and painting. A friend introduced me to the scrapping section at our local craft store about 12 years ago and I've been hooked on paper ever since!

What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?

Spare time? You're kidding, right? Let's see, I've been married to my wonderful, supportive hubby for 31 years (he's my biggest fan). We have 2 grown children and 3 fabulous grandchildren. The newest addition to our family is Lola, my 4 month old Yorkie...talk about keeping me busy! My husband and I are very active in the children's ministry at our church and have just started working on the scenery for this year's VBS. It's a busy life, but I wouldn't change a thing!

YAY! Thanks so much ladies!!! Join these wondeful DT members tomorrow as they showcase some inspiration for the week's Challenge Me Monday.

Be blessed, Beckie
