Happy Scrappin’ Saturday Everyone!!I have to say that this weeks challenge has been very inspiring!! Being able to take something that you would normally just throw away & recycle it into a new great project!!
#108 – Cricut Crawl Save the Earth - Make a project using a recycled item. If you haven't submitted a project this week...there is still time!! Today I wanted to share a couple projects that have been 'recycled'.
over at My Paper Love used a peanut container & turned it into this adorable container to hold spare keys! Such a great 'recycled' project!! :)
Going forward....I challenge everyone to look at things differently before throwing them away & consider reusing them to make them into new craft projects? Maybe taking an empty container & turning it into a candy jar. Or turning a toliet paper roll into a gift card holder. Even using a soup can & turning it into a pen holder. We can make a difference & help 'Save the Earth' one craft project at a time!
What kind of projects have you used items that you have kept from being sent to the landfill? We love comments...so leave one with your blog address so we can stop by to see your great creations & so we know you stopped by! Hope you have a great Fantabulous weekend & are able to find some time to do some Scrappin’ this Saturday! Thanks for stopping by!
I don't have a blog but do recycle things to use in my craft room. We eat a lot of salads so I keep the plastic containers that some salads come in and use them to put my ribbons in by colors. They are big enough to stand the rolls on end and the containers stack on top of each other to save space. They are clear so you can see what you have and best of all , they are FREE!
Thank you so much Melissa for showcasing my recycled project! What an honor, I LOVE Fantabulous Cricut and look forward to each weeks challenge. Thank you so so so much! Shelly
