Hello Fantabulous Readers and welcome to another Quick Tip Tuesday! For the next few weeks I'll have tips that will show you how awesome and handy swatch books can be! I came across this tip from Pinterest! It's from Tracy Pounds from Passionately Artistic.
Follow these simple steps to create your own Cuttlebug Swatch Book: 1. Die cut a tag shape out of scraps of cardstock. 2. Emboss each individual tag with the embossing folders that you own. 3. Place all of your embossed tags on a binder ring. 4. Tie a few colorful ribbons on the ring just for fun!
*The picture and instructions are from Passionately Artistic, see the original post here.
Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for the Wednesday Winners!
Great handy tip for choosing the perfect embossing folder for a project! Thanks for sharing! Carolyn http://cccscraproom.blogspot.com cccscraproom@gmail.com
This is a great idea. I carry around paint swatches for some home decor items. I think I'll use this idea to keep them all together. I see endless possibilities!
I did the same t hing, just used square scraps. I wrote on each square the name of the folder, in case I couldn't find the pattern :) That is what happens when you get old(er) lol.
I also did this but with rectangles. I labeled each of them with the folders name. I also labeled them set of 4, etc if they came in a set. I made a divider in between each section and labeled it. That way I can find the folder design I want and then find the folder easily in the container I store them in. This is divided the same way. All my folders are labeled also. I have mine divided by theme. I have it bound together at the ends with 2 large binder rings. It is about 4 in thick. My name is... and I am addicted to... dmcardmaker
