I hope you are enjoying this beautiful fall weather. Fall is almost at it's peak and it is so beautiful here in the North. Well on to our spotlight, today we are spotlighting Becky at Becky's Craft Spot. She does some amazing work and here is a project she took a top 5 pick with.
Here is some inspiration I found on her blog.
Well I hope you take the time to check her out and that cute dog. Now before you do lets get to know her better. Here are some questions we asked her.
When did you start
scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?
My very first scrapbook was while I was in
college as a way to keep all of my memorabilia in one place. I really
got interested in scrapbooking as I
know it now when I made my wedding scrapbook.
Then, when I got my first Cricut in 2011, I started making cards, and
that's when papercrafting became my main hobby.
What is your favorite type of project to make?
I like making scrapbooks because I enjoy being able to look
back at my memories, but I think right now my favorite projects are cards. All of my scrapbook layouts are
either about my dog or about trips that my husband and I have taken. I like that cards can be about all different
themes and in many different styles, and that they can come together more
quickly than a scrapbook layout. I also
like that I can use the cards to send to family or friends to brighten their
day.
What is your favorite product to use on your
projects?
My favorite in terms of the fun-factor would be
Stickles. I love to add that little
touch of sparkle. My favorite in terms
of frequency of use would be sentiment stamps, though. Other than Cricut cuts, they're the one thing
that seems to end up on most cards. Even
if I don’t have a sentiment on the front of the card I show on my blog, one usually
ends up on the inside of the card before it gets sent.
What is your favorite Cricut cartridge?
My favorite cartridge would have to be the original Create a
Critter. I love the cute images and it
definitely fits my style. I also love
the way the layers work on the Create a Critter cartridge. I just recently got Create a Critter 2, so as
time goes by we’ll see if it competes with the original for my affection.
What do you do in your spare time, when you
are not papercrafting?
I love to bake, both treats for humans and for my dog. My husband and I also love to watch
movies.
Well I hope you go over to her blog and give her some bloggy love. Don't forget tomorrow there is a new Challenge Me Monday and Becky is the guest designer, you don't want to miss it.
See You Tomorrow,
Great projects!! Lee-Ann :)
