Quick Tip Tuesday

Hello! Rachel here, and I'm excited that this will be my first post as a new Fantabulous Design Team member for Quick Tip Tuesday. I hope you'll give me lots of feedback about what types of tips you are most interested in, OK? I'd  really love to hear from you!

I'll start out by being completely honest with you, and tell you that I am a totally messy scrapper!  I have a dedicated scrap room, but it generally looks like a chaotic mess.  I always see pictures online of beautifully organized craft rooms and can only dream that mine could be that nice one day!

So while I was online looking for some crafty storage ideas, I came across this article from Better Homes and Gardens about some unexpected storage solutions using household finds. I really liked this idea for a DIY inspiration board and thought I would share it with you!

You start out with some Tin Tiles which are normally used for ceilings, some wooden drawer pulls, and some magnets.

Then you can simply paint the wooden drawer pulls a fun color of your choice and adhere the magnet to the bottom with some E-6000.  When you hang the tin tiles on your wall, you can use the decorative magnets to hang your favorite scrapbook ideas, layouts in progress, or completed pages! Cute, huh?

I also liked this idea, using inexpensive mesh pencil cups!

You can screw them into the edge of a wooden shelf, and they will hold all kinds of crafting tools while keeping your work space clean and clutter free!

I hope you enjoyed my first Quick Tip Tuesday! Don't forget to leave me a comment about what types of tips interest you most.
Happy Crafting!
