Thursday Tutorial, Cricut markers for E2.

Happy Thursday fellow Cricuteers!

Liz here to share an " emergency" pen/marker replacement for your E2s.

Did you know that the SMASH ^TM  pens (sticks with a pen on one end and a glue stick on the other) have the exact same perimeter as the Cricut markers!  I just realized that and could not wait to share with you guys! 

All you need to do in order to make sure your  pen works properly is  mark at 1 1/2" from the top of your SMASH ^TM stick's cap - on the pen end of course :)- and use that line as reference when using your SMASH ^TM   stick on your Cricut E2 machine:

Place your SMASH ^TM pen as if you were using your Cricut markers, using the mark you made as reference, to position it at the correct height.

The "cutting" settings are:

Kiss cut with 

SPEED  3 

PRESURE  1.

Here is the result you will get. Not bad for a Crafty emergency, right? 

The added bonus is that you get a fine line that shows the intricate designs better than the medium size tip of the markers.
