Spotlight Sunday!

Once again it is time to say Goodbye to our Guest Designer for this week at FCCB.
Join me in giving a fond farewell to Amy of AO Creations.

Here is her closing project for us

She used the Birthday Bash Cartridge to create this card!

And now for some closing words from Amy...

"Thank you so much FCCB for inviting me to be a guest designer. I really enjoyed sharing some of my projects with everyone and being part of this weeks challenge.
When I am not scrapbooking or papercrafting you can find me hanging out with my children, the three of them keep me pretty busy. My baby boy just started middle school and I have a son that is a sophomore in highschool and my daughter just started her junior year of highschool. For my last Project, I used the Cricut cartridge, Birthday Bash, that is another one of my favorite cartridges. Please be sure to visit my blog at aocreations.blogspot.com  Thank you for visiting me!!!"

I hope you had a chance to visit Amy's blog.  I really enjoyed getting to know this very talented Cricut Crafty person!
Join us here tomorrow to see our newest Monday Challenge.   And we hope to see your project there.

Bye Bye for Now

FCCB #229: Sketch Challenge

Good morning everyone!

We hope you are enjoying our sketch challenge this week!!  I thought I'd highlight a couple of the projects that have been submitted for your inspiration!

First up we've got this stunning fall card made by Eva's Scraps n Cards.  She used the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge on this one.

Next up we've got this super cute butterfly card made by Katieo's.  She used the Birthday Bash on this one.

With a sketch challenge, you can obviously use any image you want, but here are some of the old but great cartridges that might get you in the mood for some of the fall/holiday themed projects that are around the bend!

Spotlight Sunday!

I would like to introduce our next Guest Designer for September!

AMY OTTMERS

You may recognize Amy's work from the weekly challenges she has participated in. You can check out Amy's blog at AO Creations.  Amy lives in Texas just outside of Austin. She is the mother of three amazing and inspiring children!  She originally started her blog to enter different craft challenges and loves to scrapbook and makes cards most of all.  I have noticed that Amy has played along with a number of our challenges and is very talented with her Cricut Machine!

Here are some examples of projects from Amy's blog that really stood out to me.

This little beach scene card was made using the Cricut Classic Font, Crocs Rule and Paper Dolls for Everyday Cricut Cartridges!

I love the cute little birdie in the puddle that is on this card!  It was made with the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge.

Look at the cute little girl at the bus stop on this card!  It was made with the Locker Talk, Recess and The First Few Years cartridges!

Lastly I could not resist sharing this Your out of this World Card that Amy recently won Top 5 for on our challenge Blog... she used the Recess Cricut cartridge for the shapes on the card.

I asked Amy the following questions and here are her replies.

1. When did you start scrapbooking/papercrafting and why?
I started scrapbooking when my daughter was around 1 years old and I was expecting my second child. My mom brought me to a scrapbook class and I have been scrapbooking ever since, that was about 15 years ago and I started making cards 4 years ago.

2. What is your favorite type of project to make (i.e. cards, layouts, mini-albums, etc.)?
My favorite are cards, I love to make them.  It took me 11 years after I started scrapbooking to even attempt to make my first card and I’ve been hooked ever since.

3. What is your favorite product to use on your projects?
My favorite product is pattern paper, I’m obsessed with buying the 6x6 paper pads.

4. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge?
1.      My favorite Cricut Cartridge is Create A Critter,  I love all the cute animals on it.

Be sure to join us on Monday to see Amy's post for our Monday Challenge and link up your own .
