Spotlight Sunday

Welcome to Spotlight Sunday!
We are still “spotlighting” our designers and today we have two “fantabulously” talented ladies. AND, they are both named Lisa!
Let me, first, introduce to you to Lisa C. from My Lil’ Bits
1. When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting? Why?
I started scrapbooking just over 10 years ago when I decided I wanted to make a scrapbook to give my daughters on their 18th birthdays.
2. What is your favorite type of project to make?
Before I got my Cricut and entered the blogging world my favorite was scrapbooking, but now it is card making.
3. What is your favorite product to use on your projects?
I love ribbon, it almost seems like I can't do a project without a bow or ribbon on it somewhere!
4. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge?
Just one? Create A Critter is my favorite now, although Straight From the Nest is one I always grab for too!
5. What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
I love to read and I spend a lot of time on the computer. My husband and I enjoy the outdoors and camping. Of course I love shopping for paper crafting items too!
6. Any other info you would like us to know about you.
I am very happily married to my best friend and I have beautiful daughters and 2 little Westies. I have a full time job and I am usually found in my scrap room way too late! I love the online paper crafting community. I have made many wonderful friends here!

Now let me introduce to you to Lisa N. from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons
1. When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting? Why?
You know, as a kid, I loved arranging all of my photos and newspaper clippings in those magnetic albums. Then, when I got married almost 12 years ago, I took up the massive task of creating a Wedding Scrapbook. Well, I worked on that scrapbook for the next 8 years! I loved scrapbooking, but I just didn't have the time because of my teaching career. So, I just kept buying TONS of papers and tools and gadgets, but would scrapbook maybe once every two months or so. Well, I'm taking a break from teaching right now while we live over here in Germany (my hubby's in the military), so now I have all sorts of time for crafting! I discovered card making in December 2010, and I've been hooked ever since. I've even had a chance to work on some scrapbook layouts. And, I must say, my hubby is delighted that I'm finally using all of that stuff I've been collecting. I love crafting, and I love looking at the finished product and thinking, "Wow...I MADE that!"
2. What is your favorite type of project to make (i.e. cards, LO, mini-albums, etc.)?
Right now, I think my favorite type of project to make is cards. They come together pretty quickly, and there are just so many great options out there for creating different sorts of cards. I do still love getting to feature family photos on scrapbook pages, but those come together much more slowly for me.
3. What is your favorite product to use on your projects?
Well, my Cricut, of course! Duh!!! :o) Besides that, I've started using ink and chalk to a lot to add depth to my Cricut cuts...I just love the difference it makes.
4. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge?
Oh, man...I don't know. Well, Create a Critter is definitely the cutest cart, and there are just so many things you can do with it. I also really love Birthday Bash; I seem to use it all the time. I love all of the card bases that are on the BB cart.
5. What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
I love to read, and I have much more time these days to check out all of the books I've been wanting to read for so long. I LOVE to travel with my family, and we've gotten the chance to see so many AMAZING places since we've moved to Germany. I've also gotten the chance, for the first time, to volunteer in my daughters' schools and go on field trips with them, so I'm taking full advantage of that! I spend a lot of time blog stalking, too, and my hubby and I love to watch movies.
