Wednesday Winners #114

Good Morning Fantabulous Friends,

Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday here at FCCB! We had such a cute challenge last week, but before I get into that, I simply have to tell you what's going on here near Fort Collins, Colorado (where I live)!  I don't know how many of you have heard, but we are having a HUGE wildfire that has burned over 46,000 acres so far and doesn't look like it's slowing down anytime soon.  I am literally 5 miles away.  Monday I was 15 miles away if that gives you an idea of how much this has grown! This is such a major event that I really wanted to share with you some of the photos I have taken from my house.  I know this has nothing to do with our post today, but I simply had to share!

Over 100 structures including homes have burned, tons of people have been evacuated and that number is growing each day.  It is so incredibly scary and I know lots of people that live up in the areas in danger so my heart really goes out.  Not to mention, people had to leave everything behind, sometimes even their pets and that just breaks my heart.  There has been one reported fatality so far.  There's lots of ranches up there so horses, cows, everything, not to mention the wildlife.  If you want to help/donate, please go to my blog and scroll down to the bottom for the link and for a few more pics Scrapping, Card Making, and Living with Fibro.  Thank you for letting me talk about this here, Robin and fellow FCCB gals.

Keep in mind, these pics are not of clouds... This is actually SMOKE and that bright red dot you see was actually huge and it is the SUN!!!

Sun & Smoke (again, no clouds here!)
I walked down the street a bit and this was the view.
This is the view from down the street and west of my house.

Alright, now the reason everyone's here!  Let's get onto our Wednesday topic... I'm so happy so many people participated in the "Don't Bug Me" challenge because I know that with summer coming up, everyone is super busy with weddings, vacations, and what-not.  Great to see you're still taking time to do the crafting you love and we love to see! ;)  If you missed out on the action, you can see all the darling creations HERE to view what our amazing DT, Guest Designer, Carolyn of Carolyn's Crafty Creationsand our Fantabulous participants came up with.

Thanks so much to Ginger Snap Scraps for generously sponsoring our prize this week for one lucky winner! Let's get on to the Top 5, picked by our fantabulous DT!

Friends, one other thing I have to mention is for all of our challenges please be sure to include at least ONE Cricut Cut (can be an SVG as long as it's cut with your Cricut) on your project or it will not be eligible for the Top 5 or the Winner of our sponsored prize.  This is very important as we are a Cricut Challenge blog!

  2. My prayers are with the Fort Collins community. We had the smoke clear down here in Westminster yesterday and it was miserable.

  6. Have seen the wildfires on the news. Be safe. Very familiar with wildfires. Central TX has had many wildfires and the drought does not help matters. Congrats to the winners.

  9. I was in Rocky National Park (trail crest) when the fire was building. We were in Fort Collins and Loveland area Sat and Sunday before heading back to CA. I have been following the fire and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Being from So Cal, wildfires are not lost on me and I know how insane they can be!
