Sunday Spotlight

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. Wow! it is hot here in the North East. Today we are spotlighting 3 of our Design Team Members. First up is Cicily at Pink Dalmation Scrapbooker

Wow, check this blog out I am sure you will be inspired. Cicily also writes the Thursday Tutorials for us here. Now lets see where she crafts. She looks so organized.

Now lets see what Cicily has for her top 5 cricut cartridges and so on.

My top 5 cartridges, Art Philosophy, Nate's ABCs, Kate's ABCs, Superman!, Everyday Paper Dolls. Now that you got me going, it's hard to list just 5!
Adhesive, I loath adhesive but it's a necessary evil! I use just the generic dot runner from Walmart for most things. It sticks pretty well & doesn't get all gummed up, but I am changing cartridges often. I like the tiny zig pen for intricate cricut cuts & the wide Zig for chip board albums where I never want to see the paper separate. I also like the CTMH Bonding Memories glue for my card bases. And my go to for 3D embellishments is my good old hot glue gun.
All my cartridges are loaded on my Gypsy. I keep my favorite Cartridges in their box on a shelf right above my Cricut, mostly for decoration. I store all the cartridge books in a Superman Lunchbox tin for easy reference right there as well. The rest of my cartridges are high on a shelf for decoration.
The weld feature is my favorite. It allows me to make different card shapes & play with the images.

Next up is Holly at Ribbons & Glue. Holly has an amazing blog she also does a lot of 3D projects. If you have not stopped by her blog yet do so you will definitely be inspired. Lets see where Holly crafts.

Now lets see the answers that Holly gave for the Design Team questions.

1:What are your top 5 go to Cricut Cartridges?
Art Philosophy-, When I do a search on my Gypsy this cartridge always seems to pop up as choices. It's just chalked full of everything!
Paper Doll Dress Up- Great accessories to use
Opposites Attract- l love welding the Upright font together into phrases.
Birthday Cakes- I don't even own a Circut Cake machine but this cartridge has my favorite font. It's almost like a subway lettering.
George and Basic Shapes- Oldie but goodie when it comes to the need to make simple shapes.
2:What are your favorite adhesives?
I heart my ATG gun and Zig Zag Glue in both the roller pen and jumbo stick
3.How do you organize your cartridges?
What? Organize them?  There all just stacked up since they're loaded on my Gypsy. I do enjoy (admire) looking at my stack of cartridges though.
4.What is one of your favorite creative feature key?
I love to use the welding function on my Gypsy and using the shadow function on my cuts.  I never use to use the Shadow function before but now I really like the look of it.
Next up and last today is Jamie at the Scrap Queen.  She also does some amazing work, stop her blog and check out all the inspiration. Well now lets see her crafting space.

Love her Scrap Queen sign. Lets see what her top 5 go to cartridges are and so on.
