Welcome to Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog! Cricut enthusiasts come share your projects with us. Twice monthly we offer simple challenges for your chance to win! No matter which size Cricut machine you have, come join the fun.
You start out by cutting 5 circles in graduated sizes about 1/4" difference, and layer them together with foam tape.
Then you need to die cut or punch a bunch of small hydrangea shapes. Kittie used a punch to cut hers out of a piece of embossed cardstock.
Then take these flower pieces and give them some dimension and shape by pushing down on the center of the shape using a stylus on a mouse pad or piercing mat.
Next, you are ready to apply the flowers to your circles. Add a generous amount of a strong liquid adhesive to the top layer. Then use a paper piercer to pick up the flower pieces and squish them into the adhesive, covering the top layer completely. Push them together, overlapping the petals.
Continue on to the next layers, adding adhesive and flowers to cover each one.
Once you're finished, you'll end up with a beautiful puffy hydrangea!
Isn't this fantastic? Here is a fantabulous project that Kittie made using these Hydrangea flowers.
