Scrappin' On Saturday

Wow, can you believe tomorrow is December?  Have you made all your Christmas cards yet?  Well if not, do I have a treat for you!  Today I'm going to show you a couple fabulous cards using the amazing December 25 Cricut Cartridge by Teresa Collins.  These cuts are absolutely amazing and so easy to put together!!  Check it out....

Lorraine from Card Creations by Lorraine created this stunning card.  She has some fabulous tips she shares on how to create some of the layers on these cuts and how to glue those tight areas you just can't get to.  Make sure you watch her video on how she puts this beautiful card together!

And here is another one of her videos using the wreath cut.  Isn't this card beautiful!!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!  Until next week.....

FCCB #188: Sparkle & Bling

Happy Black Friday everyone!

We hope you had a wonderful holiday and are enjoying our "sparkle and bling" challenge theme this week.  It seems as if most entries are holiday spirited, so I thought I'd find a few more projects in blog land for your inspiration!

First up we have this lovely ornament found at Talent is Optional.  The snowflake cut comes from the Christmas cartridge and German glass was added to bling it up.

Next, Lauren from Lauren's Creative made this fabulous snow globe shaped card using the Doodlecharms cartridge.  I love all of that glitter!

Finally, Elizabeth from 217 Creations made these fabulous luminaries using the Winter Lace cartridge.  She used Krylon glitter spray paint for the sparkle!

Here are a few cartridges to get you in the holiday/"blingy" spirit!

Thursday Tutorial: The Mix and Match button & how to use it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This weeks tutorial is on the mix & match button you find on the Cricut Expression. Recently I was doing a project where I could have really, really used this feature-making it easier on myself and saving frustration. I used to use mix & match a lot, and slowly forgot about it. Let's review its use with Megan at Above Rubies Studio!

Mix and Match button-
•Allows you to use multiple Creative Features at the same time.
This is trickier…the order you select the buttons matters!
•Press Mix and Match
•Next the character you want to cut and then Creative Feature on the keypad
                                   *Character then feature key*
You can only choose one dial size even in mix and match. If you want different sizes, you need to cut and then change the dial size.

This tutorial is a great memory refresher, with a bunch of cool tips!
