Scrappin' Saturday :O)

Howdy friends!!  It has been Super cold here in my neck of the woods where the Super Bowl is going to be played tomorrow!  I hope all this ice and snow melts soon so everyone who is going makes it safely!

This week we have been focusing on Supporting a Cause and I chose to do a layout about Music Programs in schools.  With today's constant budget cutting and school districts cutting programs, I fear that Music Programs (along with many other extra curricular programs too) are some of the first programs to be reduced or cut out entirely.  I hope that the ones who have to make the decisions with school budgets realize that our students need to be well rounded in their education and will do everything possible to make that happen!

Now - on to the sketch!  It is Super simple because sometimes we just need something quick and easy!  Especially when we have the studio pictures that we have of our kids and families.

Here is my sample of the layout.  I used my newest cartridge - Quarter Note, which I HAD to have because it has so many cool music items on it!  See, I told you it would be simple today.  A couple of cuts on the Cricut, a piece of Cosmo Cricket Sandable Core Impressions, a bit of wet embossing, a dab of paint - and voila - a layout perfect for my son's album!  Actually, I might keep it for myself - but don't tell him!!

Ok - so now it is your turn!  Take this Super simple sketch and make a Super simple layout on the Cause that is near and dear to your heart!  Oh, and leave a link on your comment to this post so I can come check out your Super layout!!

Have a Super Scrappin' Saturday!
