Fall is finally in the air here in northern California and I'm lovin' it!
Today we are spotlighting Karen from Crafted with Love by Karen who was one of our Wednesday Winners recently. Here is the adorable Halloween card Karen entered at FCCB.
Let's get to know Karen a little bit better!
1. When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?
I started scrapbooking about six years ago. I did it on and off but really got into it when my sister gave me one of the little Cricut machines with the 6”x12” mat. Since then I’ve really enjoyed doing both scrapbooking and making cards. It is something my 14-year-old daughter and I love doing together. When the Expression 2 came out I just had to have it and I really LOVE it!
2. What is your favorite type of project to make (i.e. cards, layouts, mini-albums, etc…..)?
I would have to say my favorite thing to make is cards. You can never have too many! When you need a card all you do is go to your stash and pick one out. But I also really enjoy making scrapbook pages of my family.
3. What is your favorite product to use on your projects?
My favorite products to use are the Cricut, the Gypsy, and the Cuttlebug. I also really like using Stickles, buttons, and twine.
4. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge?
This is an easy one…definitely Create a Critter! There are so many cute cuts on that cartridge that you can use for a lot of occasions! I also really like Mini Monsters, Smiley Cards, and Sweet Shop.
5. What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
In my spare time I love to spend time with my husband and three kids.
Any other information you would like us to know?
I would like to thank Fantabulous Cricut for choosing me to be spotlighted and to be a guest designer! This was a great opportunity and I had a lot of fun. :)
Now let's take a look at some of Karen's fantabulous projects from her blog!
I love this little owl circle card. The owl is just so cute and I love the sentiment, as one of my favorite sayings is "it's all good!"
Look at these awesome bookmarks Karen made! She bought jumbo paperclips and then made the tops. Details are on her blog, so go check it out!
This is such a sweet little scene and that little girl is just precious. Look at her little ballerina shoes!
Stay tuned for tomorrow when Karen shares her creative creation for Challenge Me Monday, as FCCB's Guest Designer! Thanks for playing with us Karen!
Make sure to stop by Karen's blog at Crafted with Love by Karen to see these and all of her other wonderful projects! And make sure to stop by again tomorrow for Challenge Me Monday.
Happy Crafting!
