She has some great tutorials of many of her projects and her Box of Cards tutorial is a great idea to pocket for a holiday or gift idea.
Now let's see what Karon has to say!
1. When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why? I got into paper crafting back in 2004, but then when we emigrated to Canada from the UK in 2005, it got left alone and cross-stitch took over. I returned to paper crafting in January of this year when I bought my Cricut machine. I enjoy creating things from nothing and seeing the look on peoples faces when they realise you have made it yourself. My blog began in the middle of May and the rest they say is history
2. What is your favorite type of project to make (i.e., cards, layouts, mini-albums, etc....)? I love making cards and some 3D projects. Also like making gifts for my girls teachers, at Christmas and end of year and for friends.
3. What is your favorite product to use on your projects? My favorite product! That's a hard one, as I'm still fairly new to this and I know I don't use all the things I should. I love using ribbon and using my Cuttlebug for embossing. I also love inking the edges of layers as I feel it really finishes off the project.
4. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge? My favourite Cricut cartridge has to be the Art Philosophy cartridge. I only have 28 cartridges but there are so many images on them that I can usually find what I need or use elements from them to make something.
5. What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting? When I'm not paper crafting, I'm either catching up on my blog posts, visiting other blogs or planning what to do next. My other love though is cross stitch and I do still turn to this occasionally. And of course I still have the household chores, which really do take last place in my priority list:-)
