Scrappin' Saturday - National Tooth Fairy Day

Happy Scrappin’ Saturday!!  We all have memories of losing a tooth.  The excitement that you had waking up to see that the Tooth Fairy had visited to pick up the newly lost tooth and making a deposit in exchange for the tooth.

#125 – National Tooth Fairy Day  - Make a project using a Tooth, Tooth Fairy or Smile. If you haven't submitted a project for the challenge yet, there is still time.
Missy
over at Quick Chick Design made this adorble First Tooth layout for her little guy.  I love the tooths, and the fact that she used glossy accents to make it shiny!  The toothbrush also has flower soft on the bristles, which makes it look very life like!  If you haven't visited Missy's blog....you should go over, check out her fantastic projects and leave her a comment letting her know how you made your way over to her blog.

We want to see your projects using a tooth, tooth fairy or smile...
.please leave a comment with your blog address so we can stop by to see them!  Hope you are able to find some time to do some Scrappin’ this Saturday!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Thursday Tutorial - Cutting Fabric

Happy Thursday!
It's Cicily, the Thursday Tutorial gal & today I want to share some ideas on cutting fabric with your Cricut. I have yet to try this (It's been a little insane, but now I really want to after checking all these out!).
The first up is a video.
It's an oldie but goodie.
After starting it I realized I had seen this a while back, so maybe some of you have too.

If a video isn't your thing or you want another option, here's a great step by step & look how cute this onsie is!

If you've used your Cricut to cut fabric, leave us a comment with how it went, any tips or even a link back to your blog. We'd love to check it out.
Thanks for checking out the Thursday Tutorial,

Using other embossing plates on the cuttlebug

Hello fantabulous readers! This week we have a short and simple tip. Don't limit your Cuttlebug to only Cuttlebug embossing folders. You can use others, for example, Fiskars embossing plates. Valita from Valita's Designs & Fresh Folds has this mini picture tutorial on her blog.

Place your A spacer in the cuttlebug machine

Then your Fiskars texture plate with the side you want to emboss facing up.
Then the paper you want embossed.
Valita used a silicon sheet, but you can also use a plumber's mat - you can find these at a local hardware store like Home Depot.
Lay your C spacer on top
Now run it through the cuttlebug and here it is!
You can check out her original post showing this method HERE.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to check out the Wednesday Winners tomorrow!
