Quick Tip Tuesday: Amazing Dry Wall Tape

Time for another quick tip!!

I got this idea from the amazing Sheila (aka Sassy Lady) at She's a Sassy Lady. I tried it out last week when I had to make a 28' x 28" poster for our Cricut Circle Meet-up. The poster included three different titles which would have taken me hours to adhere (too large to weld on the Gyspy) until I remembered this idea.
After cutting your letters (or border images, or whatever), lay them out exactly the way you want them to appear on your layout, poster, even a card. Then, place a strip of self-adhesive mesh wall repair tape (I asked for drywall tape at the hardware store) on top of the cuts you want to adhere. Turn the whole thing over, add your favorite adhesive, turn it back over and place it on your project, then carefully remove the wall repair tape. Waa Laa, your cuts are just where you want them. And, you can save the tape to use over again. This idea saved me hours of frustration - it worked like a charm. Thanks, Sassy Lady!!!!!

Hugs and Happy Crafting,

  2. Thanks so much for this wonderful tip! This is going to be such a help when I make things for my classroom. Can I ask which cartridge you used for this banner? I'm looking for a new font to buy and I like this one! TFS
