Hello everyone and welcome to Tuesday!!!
I am excited about today's post because it is about one of my favorite non cricut tools that I love to use. And, that is pop dots. I love giving depth to my creations and I use these little guys in so many projects!
I found this great YouTube video provided by CraftaholicCentral showing exactly how you can create your own pop dots and so cheaply!
Now I have not been able to try this on my own as I do not own that big of a xyron sticker maker, but it is absolutely on my list. I can't wait to try it!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! for this video! I have been needing some REALLY SMALL pop dots! I see the solution to my problem! Again, thank you for sharing this video! You have made my day! Aren't we papercrafters easy to please!!!

You can do the same thing with your sticker maker xyron --- just cut the foam fun into narrow strips. There are a lot of fun colors at the craft store!
ReplyDeleteI do this all the time...Its really a GREAT idea!! I use my small Xyron 1.5" Sticker Maker and cut my foam a bit shy of 1.5" so it fits into the machine. Then I cut them into narrow strips and store away so they are ready for when I need them. I use all sorts of color foam, I think it blends in better with my projects and gives just the right amount of dimension.
