Quick Tip Tuesday: Stamp Placement

Hello and Happy Tuesday.  It's time to share another Quick Tip.
I found this idea at Craftgossip.com and decided to try it out.  My Cricut is my favorite crafting tool for cardmaking (of course!!), but I also enjoy using stamps to embellish my cards as well.  If you're not sure how a stamped image will look on your card, you can experiment with the positioning by stamping the image first on a piece of acrylic.  I used Staz-On ink and a transparency sheet.  You could also use the clear packaging from your cartridges.  Then, move the image around on your project until you find just the right place.

As you can see, you get a better idea using the acryllic than trying to position the stamp block around your project.  This is an idea I will definitely continue to use.
Until next time -
Hugs and Happy Crafting,
Larelyn

  10. One of the problems scrapbook enthusiasts deal when designing the layout is stamping. It's not like sketching that you can erase a part that is mistakenly drawn. This is a very good tutorial. To avoid the mistake of stamping a design in the wrong place use a transparent sheet! Thanks!
