Scrappin' Saturday: Featured Cricut Designer...Nanne Harry

Welcome to another Scrappin' Saturday here at FCCB! I am so excited to be featuring one of the most talented "Cricuteers" around...Nanne Harry from Nanne's Creations!!!

If you haven't seen her absolutely GORGEOUS layouts and other paper projects, you've just got to feast your eyes on these:

WOW!!! I am in awe every time I see a new page or project from Nanne! I had the opportunity to ask Nanne a few questions and I thought I'd share her responses with you all today:

Q. Where/what do you draw your inspiration from?
A. I draw my inspiration from so many places. My kids are my biggest inspiration, but I get inspired by other crafters as well. The wonderful ideas and creativity that others share freely..and finally from everyday objects, bulletin boards, tv commercials, products you see on your grocery store shelf..as funny as that sounds, but you would be amazed how coordinated most of the colors are on your everyday soup can or jello packet label..LOL Since I started scrapping, I have never looked at my groceries the same way again..

Q. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge(s) and why?
A. One of my all time favorite cartridges for shapes has to be Paper Doll Dress up. I love all of the extras that cartridge has.. and for the font shapes cartridge I would have to choose Plantin Schoolbook, for the same reason, it has several different fonts you can choose, plus some extras as well. Such a great cart for making word albums..

Q. What is your favorite product to use when making layouts?

A. My favorite product has to be paper, paper is the most versatile product that I can think of. You use it for the base, for the layers, flowers, leaves, flourishes, frames for your photos, etc..etc....I am a paperholic or paperhoarder as you will..LOL I buy paper like you wouldn't belive and I never seem to have enough or the right one for the project I might be working on..and when I do buy papers, I love buying them in the stacks. This way I have all of the coordianting papers together, instead of having to try to choose the right colors to match the layout. Makes life so much simpler.. LOL

THANK YOU Nanne for taking the time to share your thoughts and beautiful project with us!

Happy Scrappin'!
