Thursday's Tutorial #21

Today's Tutorial features a regular challenge player
here at Fantabulous Cricut.

Please welcome Madison and her blog called "Funky Cards"

Madison has a great project tutorial for us today.
She is actually going to show us how
to make these cute earrings with the Cricut, Gypsy, and the Cuttlebug!
First, decide on the design/shape/color, etc. you would like to create.
She chose to create round earrings using two colors.

Madison wanted a cut out effect so with the help of her Cricut Expression and Gypsy, she designed these. If you do not have a Gypsy or Design Studio you can still use your Cricut to create earrings using a circle cut and punches to punch out your smaller circles for added design. She used the beach ball from the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge
to design these earrings.
Madison chose light and dark pink paper for this project. The large light pink circle (the bottom layer) measures 2.6 inches. You will need to cut two of these. The dark pink large circle (top layer) also measures 2.6 inches. The inner circles on the dark pink circle measure 1.34 inches and the smallest circles measure .31 inches.
You will also need to cut two of these.

Now place the paper on the mat to correspond with the design
you created on the Gypsy
and cut them out. Run the cut pieces through the Cuttlebug.
She chose to use the Swiss Dots embossing folder for the top layer of the earrings and the Spots and Dots embossing folder for the bottom layer.
