Scrappin' Saturday: Using Circles

Welcome to another Scrappin' Saturday at Fantabulous Cricut! Today I'm going to focus on using a really simple shape to create fun and beautiful scrapbook layouts. With all of the gorgeous cuts that the Cricut has to offer, we sometimes forget that a simple shape, such as a circle, can really help make a layout special. Here are some great layouts that use circles as design elements:



In this layout, 6ichthusfish uses a scalloped circle to frame out her whole page.

Here, Rebecca Ludens uses a circles to highlight her title and fill in the background of the page.

Crafti Cori uses a circle on this 2-page layout to draw attention to a special photo and the title.

In this layout, Valerie Salmon uses circles to add order and interest to her embellishments.

Cari Fennell uses circles to mimic the bubbles in her photos. Circles could also be used for carousel photos, vehicle photos (tires), and photos that feature anything that spins (teacup ride, anyone?).

Finally, in this layout, Kimberly Van Diepen uses circles to frame her photos.

You see? There are so many ways to use circles in your layouts. Not all of the layouts above use the Cricut, but I think they all could have.
