Sunday Spotlight!

Happy first Sunday of December all!

It is Arin here and I would like to encourage you to take a moment away from trimming the tree and meet Melissa from No Bees, Please!  She lives in New York, just a stones throw from the Big Apple with her husband and her two small little boys!  The apple of crating talent does not fall far from the tree, her mother is an avid blogging crafter who has been mentoring and supporting her in her new passion.  She has been blogging for almost two years and is really making a splash with her talent.   That splash of talent just landed her a spot on a recent Top 5 with this card!

Check out this amazing layout found while perusing her blog.  What a great way to capture the in's and out's of precious little boys!

Here is another amazing project that is a wonderful idea for a wedding gift!

Now let's get to know this talented crafter!
1. When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why? I only started paper crafting in 2011, at the persistence of my mom.  She is an avid card maker and paper crafter and she gives me all of her hand-me-down supplies.
2. What is your favorite type of project to make (i.e., cards, layouts, mini-albums, etc....)? My favorite type of project is a toss up between home decor and crafts/treats for my son's class.  I am the Party Leader for his Kindergarten class, so I get to plan all of the crafts activities.
3. What is your favorite product to use on your projects? I would have to say my favorite product is PAPER!  You can do so many different things with paper.  It's easy to alter it's shape.
4. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge? My favorite Cricut cartridge?  That's a tough one.  Because it works so well with children's projects, I think I have to pick Create a Critter.
5. What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting? Spare time?  What's that?  LOL!  I am paper crafting in my spare time.   I am usually busy with a 5 year-old boy, who is in half-day Kindergarten and a 2-1/2 year old boy.  They keep me very busy.  When I do find some free time, I like to jump on Pinterest for some home decor project ideas.

Getting to know Melissa from No Bees,Please! has been sweetly inspirational!  Be sure to head over to her blog and check out more of her creations.  Before signing off for the week, here are a few more fun projects!

Till Next Week,
Arin
