Hi, everyone, and thanks for joining us here at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog for another Thursday Tutorial!
Today's tutorial is all about how to work with vinyl. As a papercrafter, I was afraid to try my hand at vinyl at first. But I saw so many cute projects that people had made using their Cricuts, I just had to give it a try.
The interesting thing is that Cricuts were originally modeled after vinyl sign making machines. So the reality is that cutting vinyl with your Cricut is even easier than cutting paper--great news, huh?
This is a video I made before Thanksgiving showing how to cut, weed, and apply vinyl to wood. I'm sorry it's a little out of season, but I think it shows you how easy and fun vinyl really is to work with.
Thanks for dropping by today--please join us next week for another Thursday tutorial!
This is a fantastic video showing how you did this. Thanks for sharing this and giving such good directions on how to do everything.
ReplyDeleteWonderful vinyl creation. Made 1 small vinyl project. You indicated that th3e vinyl was supplied to you. Is it the same vinyl that is sold under the Cricut name in Michaels?
