Inking embossing folders

Hello fantabulous readers! This week I have another simple tip about embossing folders to share with you. I came across this tip from Joy over at Joy's Life and here is her video showing this tip in detail.

Using other embossing plates on the cuttlebug

Hello fantabulous readers! This week we have a short and simple tip. Don't limit your Cuttlebug to only Cuttlebug embossing folders. You can use others, for example, Fiskars embossing plates. Valita from Valita's Designs & Fresh Folds has this mini picture tutorial on her blog.  

Place your A spacer in the cuttlebug machine

 

 Then your Fiskars texture plate with the side you want to emboss facing up.

 Then the paper you want embossed.

Valita used a silicon sheet, but you can also use a plumber's mat - you can find these at a local hardware store like Home Depot. 

Lay your C spacer on top

 Now run it through the cuttlebug and here it is!
