Spotlight Sunday

Happy Mother's Day to All of our Fantabulous Friends! So great to see you on this special day.

This week's spotlight is on Lisa of Life of a BZ Scrapper. Lisa grabbed a DT top 5 with this super craftiness...

Fabulous, right? If you hop around her blog, you will see some more fabulous stuff...

Oh my goodness...I know you're ready to jump right over and grab some inspiration. Before you go, let's get to know Lisa. She's a cutie!

When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?

I started scrapbooking about 15 years ago. I went to a Creative Memories party and fell in love with it right away. I've always loved taking pictures and it was a great way to showcase those and have a creative outlet and tell my family's stories. I bought stuff wherever I could get my hands on it because paper and stickers just wasn't enough for me. I discovered that you could do so much more with paper when I signed up with CTMH 6 years ago and I just can't get enough.

What is your favorite type of project to make (i.e., cards, layouts, mini-albums, etc....)?

I don't know if I have a favorite type of project. I love to be able to make anything that's girly because for years when I was just scrapbooking all I did was boy-ish pages and one of the reasons I fell in love with card making was i could get really girly finally and I didn't have to be afraid to buy flowers and pink
stuff.

What is your favorite product to use on your projects?

I guess Liquid Glass is my favorite. I use it in some way on almost every project. It is just such an easy way to add dimension and detail to any project I make. I also use it as a glue when putting together Cricut shapes because it holds so strongly and it's got that great thin tip.

What is your favorite Cricut cartridge?

The cartridge I go to most is my Art Philosophy because it has so many versatile cuts on it. Create A Critter is my favorite "cute" cartridge. And this weekend at a scrapbooking getaway I discovered Graphically Speaking! I'm not sure what I ever did without it! (I have a hard time choosing one favorite anything).

What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?

I love photography. I enjoy going to the gym and walking my dogs. I have two active sons and I enjoy going to their various events also (one is in music and the other is in culinary and both have been in various sports). I also spend a lot of time THINKING about papercrafting when I can't actually be doing it...lol!

Any other information you would like us to know about you?

I work full time and have a very full life. I fit papercrafting in between everything whenever I can. I always try to remember to hand my camera to someone and get in at least one picture (I try...lol). I love these challenges because it gives me a jumping off point and always makes me try something I didn't try before. I love this blog in particular because it's made me explore some of my cartridges I hadn't used yet and I really appreciate the time and effort that's put into Challenge Blogs like this one. Thank you!!!

YAY! Thanks, Lisa. Jump over and check out Life of a BZ Scrapper . Then come back tomorrow and see what Lisa has whipped up for Challenge Me Monday.

Be blessed,Beckie
