Sunday Spotlight

Great Sunday to all you fantabulous friends! It's time again for Spotlight Sunday, and we are glad to see ya.

This week's Spotlight is on Jess of My Scrap Diary. She was a Wednesday Winner with this super pretty card.

If you take a hop around Jess' blog, then you'll see some of these crafty projects...

Yes, awesome stuff, I know.  Now before you hop over and look at the rest of her blog, let's get to know Jess. She's a super sweet gal...

When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?

I began my paper crafting adventure in 2010. I originally began as a scrapbooker. I was lured in by the cricut machine when I was dragged to my first scrapbooking party. lol, my friend was relentless and wanted me as her scrapping buddy. I eventually let all the wonderful things that the scrapping world has to offer win me over and make a scrap-a-holic.

What is your favorite type of project to make (i.e., cards, layouts, mini-albums, etc....)?
Currently, I make cards but I also like to make bookmarks and alter small items.
What is your favorite product to use on your projects?
I like to use flowers, butterflies and flat back pearls

What is your favorite Cricut cartridge?
I have a nice little collection of cartridges but I hardly use them for their images. However, I do have a few fave that I like to turn to when I dont feel to lazy to use my machine for its full purpose, lol. They are Create a Critter, Kates ABCs and Disney Classics.
What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
I enjoy reading and lots of window shopping
Any other information you would like us to know about you?
Although I began as a Cricut person, I discovered digi and rubber stamps and I became enamored with them. My stamp collection grew immensely and now that is all you mainly find on my blog. I also like using the Cri-Kits pens from time to time to color the cricut images, such as the one on tomorrow's card.
A HUGE thanks to FCCB for having me as a special guest this week.
YAY! Thanks, Jess! Be sure to hop over to My Scrap Diary and check out the rest of Jess' creativity. Then...tomorrow come back to FCCB and see what Jess whips up as our Guest Designer.
Be blessed, Beckie

  1. Exactly what part of these cute cards are actually cricut related? I thought this was a site for cricut users.
