Spotlight Sunday!

Happy Sunday All!

Today we are spotlighting Diana from Leelee Card Designs, who is a fun pooch lovin', crazy for her Cricut country girl, that resides near Napa Valley, CA on a vineyard she and her husband own.   There have been times critters besides those from the Create a Critter cartridge have made cameos on her blog. Now if that is not the making for a blog to visit, I don't know what is!

Diana truly has a passion for card making and that landed her a recent spot on our Top 5 with this project!

If you are looking for some inspiration on what amazing projects you can make from one of her favorite Cricut Cartridge, Art Philosophy, and how it can share the stage with other cartridges on the same project, this is the place! Here are a few samples of what you may find while visiting her blog.

Now let's meet this fun and talented country crafting girl!
1. When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why? I started in 2009, when my husband bought me a giant box of craft supplies at Beverly's for my birthday. I'm pretty sure he's kicking himself for that one! I had dabbled in scrapbooking & home decor before, but never made cards or anything. A few months later my parents bought me my first Cricut & that's what really kicked off my addiction. That's when I started making cards. Then for my next birthday I got a pink Expression & my next birthday after that I got an Imagine. My husband & I sold our business & retired in 2010, so now I have lots of time to craft, which is like a dream come true!

2. What is your favorite type of project to make (i.e., cards, layouts, mini-albums, etc....)? My favorite project to make is cards for sure. I haven't done a scrapbook in years, but I do also like to do home decor & decorations.

3. What is your favorite product to use on your projects? Oh man.... I have to pick ONE?? I guess the thing I use most often is my CTMH Liquid Glass. I also love bling & cute little embellishments like pearls & brads. I also go through phases where I'm obsessed with punches.
4. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge? My favorite cartridge would have to be Art Philosophy. That cartridge rocks! I use it ALL the time & it's my go-to cartridge for pretty much everything. 5. What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting? Oh... are we supposed to have other hobbies?? Whoops! But seriously, besides crafting I love to spend time with my doggies. I don't have any kids so my dogs are my children. I have 2 Pit Bulls, Lexi & Haylee & a Fox/Jack Russell Terrier mix, Hugo. I'm also very involved in Pit Bull rescue & advocacy.
It was a true joy to spotlight Leelee Cards Designs today and we hope you head over and see what she is up to.  For now we will leave you with a couple fun pictures of her life living in the country and her fur babies!

Have a great Sunday!
