Hi everyone! This has been the longest week, but at least it is finally Friday :) Since our theme this week is Make Some Music, I thought it would be the perfect time to take a closer look at Quarter Note. I love this cartridge! My daughter plays the Cello and just joined the choir this year, so this is perfect for those scrap pages and cards for her music teachers. Plus, I just love the swirls and music notes and would have bought this anyway :)
This cartridge has the following creative features: Phrase, Font 1, Font 2, Font 3, Phrase Shadow, and Shadow creative features. There's a regular font and a music note font--too cute!
Here are some samples for you.
This card is one of my favorites that I made. I just love the pink and the black together. This shows some of the notes without the swirls too, so you don't always have to have them.
This is a quick gift card holder to highlight the phrase feature. There are some wonderful phrases on here!
This card shows you the cut with the shadow feature.
And here's a simple scrapbook page with the guitar cut.
I hope this has inspired you to Make Some Music! So please join in our challenge--just be sure there is at least 1 Cricut cut on there and submit it before the end of the day on Sunday!
Have a musical weekend!
All of your projects are just wonderful! I really do need to get this cart--lots of music and singing in our family:-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Helen! I just completely ignored this cart when it came out because no one in my family has a musical bone in their body! But seeing your cards may make me re-think this one...I love all those pretty swirls!
ReplyDeleteThese projects are wonderful, Helen. I don't have the cart, but you sure make me want to consider.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
I have this cart and look forward to using it more! thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI have two musical kids and I LOVE this cart! So versatile. I love the basic font. It makes a fairly bold connected look. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards!
ReplyDeleteDelightful cards! This is one of my favorite cartridges!
