Good morning everyone! It's Angie from Angie's Paper Passion here again to share a quick tip with all of you. Most of you may know this but I'm pretty sure there are many Cricut owners out there who have never been told this before. Do you know what to do if your Cricut machine starts acting, well, wonky, not working well, or just acting kinda crazy? Well, if it's in the middle of cutting, hit the STOP button! This will stop the machine to keep anything else bad from happening. Unload your mat and try turning your machine off for awhile. Now, I'm no Cricut expert, so if you ever have issues please call PC customer service. They will talk you through any issue and they do a fantastic job, in my opinion.
But there is a reset button - just in case! And this is where it's located and how to get to it:
(Notice all of my 'technical' terms - 'Cricut' for the housing and 'garage' for the... well, I have no idea, LOL!)
After following the instructions in the above photo, look into the machine all the way to the right side.
Do you see it? That small red button is the Cricuts reset button. It is only to be used when everything else hasn't worked - you'll know when that time comes - it's right before you start to pull out your hair, lol. But it just resets your Cricut to the default settings.
I have never had to use it on any of my machines but it's good to know that it's there just in case...
Can you believe that it is the end of April and tomorrow is the first of May? I think it's time to organize! So my quick tips for May will be about different ways to get our Cricut and craft hoards, ah, supplies in order so we can have a better environment to let our creativity flow! I hope you will join me here every week for new tips! Thank you and I really appreciate your comments!
Until next time, Happy Crafting!
Oops, wrong week, Angela. Tomorrow is only April 24th.
ReplyDeleteHi Angie! Not sure what calendar you are using but by my calculations we have a week to go before April ends! LOL Maybe you meant for this to post a week later but you had me confused for a minute!
ReplyDeleteI think your first organizational job should be to update your calender. Today is only April 23rd. We still have another week until May 1st....lol Thanks for the Cricut tip...I had no idea where the reset button was located :)
