Good morning to all you crafty people out there!
I'm back with another Quick Tip this week.
Have you ever gotten in a COLOR rut and just couldn't pick the right colors that you wanted to use on a project? This happens to me quite a bit - I know what I want to make and I'll have a design or sketch planned but... those colors, the right colors, the perfect colors are just not coming to me. And I even have stacks and stacks of, well, stacks of coordinated paper and it still doesn't help sometimes! Well there is some help for people with our affliction (LOL). I found this a few years ago and I still love it - sometimes just for the inspiration!
It's a blog with an awesome Color Lab Color Combo Generator!
All of the colors from Stampin' Up, CTMH, Bazzil, Copic and proMarker are included. You can pick one or more colors that you like and hit search and many different combinations will pop up that also include your original colors that you picked out. Or just hit "Surprise Me" and let it generate color combos. It's free to use . I usually just bookmark it where I know I'll find it quickly. They also have a widget that you can download to your desktop.
I think this little tip will come in handy even if you are not using the paper companies mentioned above. Sometimes close is better than nothing, right? lol!
Just try it out on the Challenge this week here at FCCB. Put in YELLOW and see what color combinations it comes up with!
I'd also like to hear from you, our FCCB blog fans!
I want to give tips that you guys are actually interested in and will use.
So what tips would interest you the most?
- Cricut (of course, lol)
- Tools
- Storage
- Using Cricut accessories
- Particular carts
- Scrapbooking/cardmaking
I could go on and on. So please leave me a little blog love this week and tell me your thoughts! I can't wait to hear your comments! Thank you for helping me to make Quick Tip Tuesday even better for you!
Until next time, Happy Crafting!
