Fantabulous Friday - Celebrate With Flourish

Hello everyone and welcome to another Fantabulous Friday!
I'm happy that you could join us today as we go on another Cricut exploration!

This week's challenge here at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is
Mom's The Word
Create a project with the word Mom, Mother, Mommy, etc
and don't forget to use at least one Cricut cut!

While going through my collection of cartridges, trying to narrow down my choices
for this week's post, I came across one of my "go-to cartridges".....
Celebrate With Flourish.
Celebrate With Flourish is a Cricut Lite Cartridge available at Walmart.
This is a wonderful cartridge to have on hand! It's one of those carts that can be
used year-round. The celebrations are just about unlimited...Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween,
Easter, Mothers and Father's Day just to name a few!
The only Creative Feature on this cart is Layer. Using the shift key, each
image has 4 layers which makes a great looking cut!

With Mother's Day just around the corner, I thought I would start out with a bright, happy card for mom....

This is really a very quick, simple card. The cut is made at 2 3/4 inches.
I used my white gel pen to add a few dots to the cut. Some ribbon, buttons and
a Prima flower finish this card up!

Here's another quick, cute little card.....
This yummy strawberry looks good enough to eat!
This cut was made at 3 1/2 inches and I covered the brown section with
Glossy Accents. A bit of twine and a chocolate button are the finishing touches!

My last project is a bright, sunny picture frame...
This started out as an unpainted, wooden frame I purchased at Walmart. My first step was to paint the frame a bright, happy shade of green. The sunshine is cut at 2 1/2 inches and after adhering the layers, I added Stickles to the center of the sun. The "Sunny Day's phrase is also cut at 2 1/2 inches. A white gel pen was used to add a few dots to the phrase and stitching lines around the frame. I love the twine and over-sized button, and of course, the picture of my grands!

Now, take a look at this great card I came across from the Cricut Couple.
This card was made on the Imagine using the "Happy Birthday" phrase....
How cute is this?

Well, I think that about wraps up this week's Fantabulous Friday. I have really enjoyed exploring this fun little cartridge with you this week and I hope you have enjoyed your visit.
If you haven't joined in our challenge this week, you still have time. Remember...
Mom's The Word!
I can't wait to see what you create!
Until next time,

  6. My mother in law let me borrow her cricut and clelbrate with flourish. I have never used a cricut before and am having problems understanding how to get it to cut all four layers. Do you have a step by step video showing how to cut all layers?
