Fantabulous Friday -- Animal Kingdom

Hi everyone! Our challenge this week is A Splash of Color (yellow) so I just had to come up with something to show you without really linking it to our challenge. I decided to highlight an older cartridge, Animal Kingdom! I do have a yellow card down there though to help with an idea to enter the challenge this week :)

Animal Kingdom is one of the 1st cartrdiges I bought when I first got my Cricut. It's a great cartrige and still available to buy.

This cartridge includes: Head, Sound, Bookmark, Book, Shadow, and Blackout creative features. Some of the animals don't actually make a sound so it has a word that relates to the animal.

Here are some projects I have made with this cartrdige. It's super fun! I used this cartridge for bookmarks for work one time using the owl (that's our mascot) but did not take pictures. But here are some cards.

This is probably one of my 1st Cricut cards ever. But it made for a cute card for a friend :)

This adorable doggie was for my mother in law. She has a black dog so it was perfect for her!

And this card uses the color yellow just like our challenge calls for this week. I just love the bananas!

The extras on this cart just add so much. The bones and bananas for example. And I added to the cuts by using a pen on the cut marks. You could probably use the Cricut markers and it wouldn't take as long. Make sure to visit the Challenge Me Monday post to see all the designer's splashes of color and enter your own project you made for the challenge!

I hope you have a great three day weekend!!

  1. Especially like the bananas. I like the Animal Cartridge since it has more real looking animal images although there are some more animals I would like to have seen included like wild Cats: Cheetahs, and a Lioness (there is a Lion and not tried removing the mane with contour hiding option to see it that would work).
