These are darling, I know. Let's get to know her a lil better.
When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?
About 6 years ago my paper crafting began strictly as a hobby, it was something to do with my girlfriends. Then my husband saw an ad on TV for the cricut. He convinced me to purchase it even though at first I didn't know if I would really use it. As I researched it online I started to see some possibilities. At the time I was undertaking a project at school, where I ran the elementary library. I was turning my library into an aquarium. My paper crafting then took off in many ways.
What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
In my spare time I line dance, workout and spend time with family and friends. Family is very important to me. I enjoy pouring myself into my job which is presently running our high school library. I have dabbled in other craft media over the years and I am incorporating them into my paper crafting. I also enjoy sharing my love for crafting with you tube videos and classes.
Here is Holly of Ribbons and Glue
I know...these are fabulous. Let's get to know Holly.
When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?
I've always loved crafting and started scrapbooking 8 years ago. A few years ago, I discovered the world of Cricut and have been hooked ever since! I absolutely love paper crafting! I'm sucker for anything 3D and love to give unique and personal cards and paper crafts to friends and family.
What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
I live in Las Vegas with my husband of 13 years along with my two kids who are 7 and 5. I'm active in my son,s school and his Cub Scout Den. In my spare time when I'm not crafting or thinking about crafting, I love to exercise and attend a women's Bible study group.
I know you love it all ;0) Let's get to know Karen.
When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?
I started scrapbooking when I was dating my husband, 30 years ago. Very basic pages of what we did, photos, memorabilia and journal. Scrapbooking was really in it's infancy, so there was not the abundance of product you now see on the market. I have some really old tricks and tools that I still use. Using Saran wrap to add texture to paper and a very old, interesting corner rounder that is 20 years old, just to name a few. When I was pregnant with my oldest son, who is now 26, I purchased a little 1" x 1" rubber stamp with a bear inside a baby buggy, which I used to make baby announcements. I had an opportunity to work with a direct sales company when my sons were 5 and 2. D.O.T.S. which later become Close to My Heart. As of last year, I decided to leave CTMH, however I continue to be hooked on rubberstamping, scrapbooking and papercrafts and all this crazy passion has to offer.
What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
I do work full time outside the home, as an elementary school Office Manager, which is my reality. In my spare time I create for FCCB and Colorful Creations, as well as blog. I also love to bake, go on dates with my hubby, tour some of the many wineries we have in Washington state.
One last thing to share, as I am very proud of this accomplishment... I participated and completed my first triathlon last August 14, 2011 in 02:38:02. Not bad for someone who is not a swimmer and over 50 years of age.
Yep, She really does love shoes ;0) Don't we all...hee hee. Let's get to know Sheila.
When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why?
I started paper crafting in the fall of 2007 when I saw a Stampin' Up! catalogue one of my friends had laying around her place. I took one look through the catalogue and was so excited because I knew I had found my favourite hobby at last! Making Cards...
What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting?
When I'm not paper crafting or shopping for paper crafting, I'm shoe shopping!
