#151 Bye Bye Birdie
Almost every Cricut cartridge has a bird cut so the possibilities are endless. Below, I have listed some of my favorites.
3 Birds on Parade is of course a must when talking about bird cuts. There is a little bird for every holiday and occasion and Bonus, it has a fun font too as well some great phrases that would also make great scrapbook titles.
Many of the cartridges have owl cuts on them but this little Cricut lite has a ton of them on one cartridge. It also has fun phrases and other useful cuts that would be wonderful for any occasion.
Songbird is billed as a font cartridge but it has an abundance of beautiful and elegant bird images and the font is lovely too!
Now onto some projects! The first two projects are from Cricut Crazy Scrapper. She has quite a few layouts on her blog which I found quite refreshing. It appears that many of us (talking about me) have abandoned our scrapbooking for cardmaking and other projects. She really reminded me of why I got my Cricut in the first place and I felt very inspired to do some layouts!
This next layout is from She's a Sassy Lady. She used the owl from Campin' Critters and I think it's just a fun layout that can be easily adapted for any age.
While a bird image can be used for any scrapbook layout theme, below I have listed some suggestions for bird scrapbook titles:
- For the Birds
- Look Whooo's turning..
- Bless this Nest
- Bird's Eye View
- Feed the Birds
- Something to Crow About
- You Quack Me Up
- A Little Birdie told Me...
- Birds of a Feather
- Hoot Hoot Hooray
- You're a Hoot
- Happy Bird-Day
Thanks so much for visiting me today. I hope that you were inspired to use a bird on your next scrapbook layout!
Thanks for showing some of my layouts!!! I was so excited :) Your list of titles is great-I have copied this for future reference, as 3 Birds on Parade is one of my favorite cartridges, so I know I'll be making more bird layouts in the future!
