Spotlight Sunday!

Happy Sunday!  To my crafty friends in the North East, I am thinking of you all as you are beginning to try to dig out!  Hopefully you all have had enough crafting supplies to help with being hunkered down weathering out the storm.
Today we have a fun and super witty crafter to introduce to you and her name is Emily from Mollie's Motif!  First, her blog name is based on her nickname Mollie, which is just a clever and cute way to name a blog! Secondly, she has a great sense of humor that keeps you in stitches while you visit her posts and profile.  She is a SHAM of two small children, bowling league member is on her resume, she stalks visits Disneyland often and when she is not spending time at the happiest place on earth, she finds her happy place playing with paper! Her love for paper has landed her two recent FCCB Top 5 with these two projects!

In the spirit of this being the week of Valentine's Day, showcasing some of her sweet Valentine's Day projects is a must!

Now let's meet her!

 1. When did you start scrapbooking/paper crafting and why? I have always had a love of paper and have done little paper crafts here and there, but I got really involved after I got my first Cricut for Christmas 2010.  I was finding myself somewhat lost after two years of being a stay-at-home mom and not having an "out". I needed to become engaged with something and when I came across a sale at my local craft store for the "Baby Bug" and 5 cartridges for less than $200, I was inspired to start crafting.  And I have loved every minute of it!
2. What is your favorite type of project to make (i.e., cards, layouts, mini-albums, etc....)?Cards are definitely my favorite thing to make, followed by toppers for cello goodie bags. I also love paper and wood crafts (mod podge projects).
3. What is your favorite product to use on your projects? It seems silly, but paper. I love all types of paper and sometimes don't put anything on cards but cute, fun paper. If that doesn't count, then sentiment stamps. I  love all kinds of sentiment stamps.
4. What is your favorite Cricut cartridge? Right now I'd have to say Sweethearts, but Create-a-Critter is a close 2nd.
5. What do you do in your spare time, when you are not paper crafting? I am usually in the kitchen cooking or baking  or on Pinterest finding new things to cook or bake!
While visiting her blog, there was one post that really popped! Two yeas ago she posted about finding a new and fun challenge blog called Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog.  Here is her first EVER link-up to FCCB!  What a fun gem to find and the card is just adorable!

Visiting Mollie's Motif and getting to know Emily is just a fun an sweet experience.  She has many laugh-out-loud moments as she shares her journey of being a mom, wife and avid paper crafter.  Make sure you pop in and say, "HI"!  I want to leave you with a few of my personal favorite projects I spied along that way!
